Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for using the app and generated output lawfully and for respecting privacy, intellectual-property, export, and other applicable rights. Do not use CuriousLM to harm people, compromise systems, distribute unlawful content, impersonate others deceptively, or violate third-party terms.
Local AI limitations
Small on-device models can produce incorrect, incomplete, biased, unsafe, or fabricated output. CuriousLM is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or other expert advice. Verify important information and do not rely on an output where an error could cause harm.
Your data and exports
Chats and inference remain on your device, except the words of a web search you ask for and a report you choose to send. You control the content you add and are responsible for having permission to process it. CuriousLM cannot see or recover your data. Browser and device storage can be removed, so keep your own exports of anything that matters.
Your assistant on Android
On Android, CuriousLM can look after your day: it reads your screen, notifications and calendar, notices who is waiting on a reply, catches bills, deliveries and appointments, warns you about messages that look like scams, adds the events you ask for to your calendar, and drafts replies for you. All of it runs on your phone with the model you downloaded, and nothing it reads goes to a server. Each source is off until you turn it on, and turning it off deletes what was kept from it.
You stay in charge of what it does. CuriousLM never sends, pays or deletes anything without your tap, so read a drafted reply before you send it; what you send is yours. Turn on only the sources for accounts and devices you are entitled to use.
Models and third-party services
Models and third-party services have their own licences and terms. The app shows each model's licence before download. LFM commercial distribution rights include an annual revenue condition; making the app free does not remove it. CuriousLM uses privacy-limited Google Analytics 4 for aggregate service-improvement statistics. In the EU and EEA it starts only if you allow it, and elsewhere it is on by default. It excludes chat and file content, can be turned off in Settings, and is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy policy.
Availability and changes
The app is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. The publisher may update or discontinue a feature or model for security, compatibility, legal, or operational reasons while taking reasonable steps to preserve local chats and settings.
Your device, your responsibility
CuriousLM is free. You choose the models you download, and they run on your own device under their own licences. What you ask, what a model writes and what you do with it are yours. The features that help with your day (scam warnings, reminders, due dates, calendar changes, drafted replies, keyboard suggestions and corrections) can miss or misread things. They are aids, not guarantees, so do not rely on them alone for anything that matters.
No warranty and no liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CuriousLM and every model, feature and update are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranty, express or implied, including of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or continuous operation.
To the same extent, the publisher accepts no liability of any kind, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, CuriousLM, any model or any output. That includes direct, indirect and consequential loss, lost data, money, profits or opportunities, and damage to your device. You use CuriousLM entirely at your own risk.
You agree to cover the publisher's losses and reasonable costs from any claim someone else brings because of how you used CuriousLM or its output, or because you broke these terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability or consumer right that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts can hear any dispute about them. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another country, you keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
