Eligibility and acceptable use
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for using the app and generated output lawfully and for respecting privacy, intellectual-property, export, and other applicable rights. Do not use CuriousLM to harm people, compromise systems, distribute unlawful content, impersonate others deceptively, or violate third-party terms.
Local AI limitations
Small on-device models can produce incorrect, incomplete, biased, unsafe, or fabricated output. CuriousLM is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or other expert advice. Verify important information and do not rely on an output where an error could cause harm.
Your data and backups
Ordinary chats and inference remain on your device. You control the content you add and are responsible for having permission to process it. CuriousLM cannot recover a lost vault or backup passphrase. Browser and device storage can be removed; encrypted backups are your responsibility.
Models and third-party services
Model artifacts and third-party services have their own licenses and terms. The app shows the model license before download. LFM commercial distribution rights include an annual revenue condition; making the app free does not remove it. Production Tavily use requires your own key and follows Tavily's terms. CuriousLM uses cookieless Google Analytics 4, not Universal Analytics (GA3), for aggregate service-improvement statistics. It is enabled by default, excludes chat and file content, can be turned off in Settings, and is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy policy.
Availability and changes
The app is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. The publisher may update or discontinue a feature or model for security, compatibility, legal, or operational reasons while taking reasonable steps to preserve local chats and settings.
Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CuriousLM is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or continuous operation. The publisher is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss, or lost data, profits, or opportunities. Mandatory consumer rights and liability that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
